Interesting Facts

Picacho Peak is a famous mountain landmark located about 50 miles northwest of Tucson and West of I-10. Famous for a Civil War battle fought between the North and the South in Arizona. The battle happened in 1862. It is said to have been “the westernmost engagement of the American Civil War and the largest in Arizona.”
